Therapeutic massage - this is meant to release muscle tension and improve blood circulation. Heidi will integrate modalities as needed or requested. Opportunity for an aromatherapy add-on or a CBD add-on.

Breathwork Session

Conscious breathing and breathwork can help process and release the experiences of trauma. Just as breathwork has many positive effects on alleviating anxiety and managing stress, breathwork for trauma can help heal, release, and restore aspects of ourselves that are impacted by traumatic events. Somatic breathwork healing focuses on breathing in a way that honors the body as self-regulating and intelligent, transcending the cognitive mind. This form of breathwork generally encourages the increased flow of oxygen to your brain and body. Heidi will guide you in this breathwork and hold space for you to breathe and release.

Yoga and Core Stress Release

Core stress release is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. Heidi will walk you through the protocol of tremoring and hold space for your body to heal itself.

What are the benefits of massage?

Reduce stress and pain, increase circulation, lower heart rate, boost mental health and immunity.

How often should I get a massage?

To keep your body in good condition and maintain health, it is recommended to get a massage every 3-4 weeks. This will help prevent injury, pain and tension build-up in the muscle fibers.

Should I take off my underwear when I get a massage?

This depends on your comfort level. Genitals will never be exposed during the session and only the specific areas being massaged will be uncovered.
